Icons for xfce4-battery-plugin

Open Sir-Photch opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

I suggest adding the icons that are currently used in the xfce4-power-manager to xfce4-battery-plugin.

Currently, it uses the following icon for the taskbar: grafik

and for notifications: grafik

The reason I prefer the battery plugin over the usual power manager is notifications when certain battery levels are reached. Powermanager does not seem to provide that.

So without knowing the specific icon names there's nothing I can do. To help you can:

  • Provide the expected icon names
  • Provide a link to the source and I can try and find them

With that information I can create a link in each size/type folder to the name of the icons it expects (or if you want you can do that and we'll accept the pull request).

So the icons for the taskbar seem to be located here.

I'll keep digging for the ones of the notification.

What exactly would I have to do to create such links? Where do the other icons for the notifications reside? E.g. the ones for changing audio volume

Okay, so I have the suspicion that the icons for the notifications are still handeled by the xfce4-power-manager. But it does not seem like the icons are applied to the notifications?

So whenever I get something like this I find it helpful to look in the source (and/or contact the developers for this and ask them whats up).
