When viewing a network in MacOS the display window does not refresh and leaves visualization artifacts when zooming in or moving nodes in the display.

I have this problem too! Didn't have it with my old Mac and old OS version though

Hard to say what the cause is here without having the hardware in question in front of me, but I expect it's something on the driver side rather than any specific problem in Graphia itself. You could try updating the drivers if that's an option that's available to you:

Seeing more reports of this; seems to be related to OS version. Catalina is OK, Big Sur not so much.

On the other hand on my hardware it seems to be fine in Catalina, Big Sur and Monterey. I strongly suspect this is something chipset related, or more specifically something related to Intel chipset drivers that ship with Big Sur and up. For what it's worth everything works as expected using either the AMD Radeon Pro 5300M 4 GB or the Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB on my hardware.

It would probably be helpful to gather a list of problematic chipsets; @esoikie is having issues with their "Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB", so that's one data point, but I have at least one other user with this chipset also experiencing problems.
