The answer is: no.

The code is specific to given kernel version, you have to build it with config pulled from your device, same toolchain and then customize the symbols yourself.

Check on the pixel 2 xl xda forums, theres a post using the same exploit. Additionally you can compile this using android studio.

Hello, sorry for asking but I'm really a noob at all this. So I came across this yesterday and saw it doesn't need a bootloader unlock, but I now realize I need to do some work myself/find someone to help me. I have an lg g8 on september patch and was wondering if someone could walk me through how to make this compatible with the g8. Also for the things u need to extract that are device specific, is a rooted device required to obtain those in the first place?
