Connecting to K8s cluster

I already have Prometheus configured seperately and when I try to connect K8s plugin with the Prometheus URL (via browser) it says cant deploy as the data source already exists.

Thats understood as the deployment of Prometheus is already done, but then none of the dashboards work as they Data source not configured.

How is it possible to attach an existing datasource to the K8s plugin dashboards ?
