I am on the free tier of open ai, I think has access to gpt 3.5 turbo but it just doesn't launch for me: more details on the error below Screenshot (93)

In the 'my-new-project' folder, do you have a 'main_prompt' file containing the instructions for what you want to build? And I am not sure trial (free) tier will work, because it has limit of 3 requests per minute.

I am having the same error, and i have a main_prompt file inside my projects subdirectory

  • on the creation of the project folder, the main_prompt is not copied across to new project folder which contains the memory and workspace sub directories

Work around / suggestion

create project folers in root directory / copy main_prompt to project folder in root directory

I have a projects folder in the root, inside there is an example folder, that has the main prompt, i also tried copying the main_prompt to the projects folder (outside of the example, still got nothing)

also the instructions say to create a new folder in the projects directory and keep the main prompt there, i tried that, still get the same error

I got this working by moving my project folder (with main prompt file) to the root directory of gpt-engineer

I had it working in from projects and know that is what documentation says but someone has changed something (might change back!)

really? for me I just got it working by moving the main_prompt to the projects projects/my-new-project directory, however now the problem is i have exceeded my API quota limit
