Redesign (non-logged-in) start page

The current start page that non-logged-in users get to see is not very usable. So far I have identified the following problems

• it contains too much text
• it does not contain any relevant information for returning users (eg currently trending podcasts)
• it contains little relevant information for new users

The start page should be re-designed to address these shortcomings.
