Bulb Capture with less than 1ms

I am testing BULB capture with below command.

gphoto2 --set-config eosremoterelease=Immediate --wait-event=1ms --set-config eosremoterelease="Release Full"

I can make the capture shot to 1ms. But I want to achieve 1/8000s equivalent time i.e. 0.125ms. Is it possible to use wait-event less than 1ms?
