Sony A5000 issues...

Hi, I am using a Sony Alpha-5000 in a remote timelapse appliance. The camera is controlled by cron based scripting in order to start a lapse sequence. However, the camera behaves very unpredictable. Kan make photos for one, two ore more hours but then stops all of a sudden. becoming unresponsive, and me having to restart the computer or the camera in order to get it to work again.

It also seems that it stops working when entering low light conditions (shooting on aperture prio). Anybody else experiencing problems with these camera's?

I've used several versions of Gphoto2, on Raspbian and Ubuntu...
