Incorrect change of intron to mRNA feature

When I run this the gffread it turns this:

X14112.1	EMBL	intron	4953	6907	.	-	.	ID=id-X14112.1:4953..6907;Note=stable LAT (latency associated transcript);gbkey=intron

into this:

X14112.1	EMBL	mRNA	4953	6907	.	-	.	ID=id-X14112.1:4953..6907
X14112.1	EMBL	exon	4953	6907	.	-	.	Parent=id-X14112.1:4953..6907
