Hangouts text is always a link

Hi,

The text that appears in hangouts is blue and underlined (link).

The links point to a url of the form: https://hangouts.google.com/webchat/u/0/TEXT separated with %20

for example, if I type "test again" in hangouts it shows "test again" as a link to: https://hangouts.google.com/webchat/u/0/test%20again
