How can I resume a failed download?

I have a very unstable connection, and the official Mega client restarts from the beginning when the download fails.

I'm developing a client for myself to avoid this problem. I've already managed to list the files and directories and load them in a treeview, and get the download URL, but I can't find how to restart the download.
