1)The Microphone is on before starting the program?[Cause if you turn if after it will not work... I have not added this feature , although it is easy ]

Have a look at the youtube tutorials , once more ... it should work :)

The project you are running is the first SimpleSpeechCalculator?

1)The Microphone must be on before the program starts.

I see no reason why is not working if you are following the 1 and is not printing any errors . When it says : You can start to speak... and the Microphone is already on it should work...

To test it go inside the Thread and use a System.out.println(result); to see if it is printing the result to the console .

Hm i have not tested it with windows 7 [ Cause i have not any computer with it installed ] , but it should work .

[ I will test it with Windows 7 on Virtual Machine , when i get one free copy of the Operating System]
