Link law citation to published law
Currently, the Bill Overview page mentions the law citation of a bill that was signed by the president:
This should link to the law as enrolled, either via uslaw.link or directly at the GPO.
The existing bill text link will be to the enrolled text, at least once it's published.
Is this example not published? https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/116/s2904 https://uslaw.link/citation/us-law/public/116/258 https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/PLAW-116publ258/pdf/PLAW-116publ258.pdf https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/PLAW-116publ258/html/PLAW-116publ258.htm
The text we have should be identical to the other link. Minus the marginalia.
Oh, I misunderstood what you were saying. Yes, I'm not denying that the bill text is available as Passed Congress.
But that's not the same thing as an enrolled law. IIRC, it is possible for Congress to adjust the enrollment of a law via joint resolution. And the marginalia is, in some cases, significant. For example, the marginalia for this bill (which is just the last enrolled law of last Congress) notes which section of the U.S.C. each section of the act corresponds to.
