Death in office not well indicated

H.R. 1966, which was just signed into law at the end of the 116th Congress, had Elijah Cummings as its primary sponsor. However, there is no indication anywhere on the bill or his member page that indicates that Cummings died in office on October 17, 2019. All it says is that he left office in 2019 and that he missed 100% of the votes taken in Oct–Dec 2019.

It would be good if there were some more detailed/obvious indicator when a member of Congress has died in office, and has not been removed from office for other reasons, especially when they remain sponsors of legislation. (Does Congress treat sponsorship differently depending on the reason for the end of a member's term?)
