Filtering on supranational level/groups of countries?

It would be nice if it was possible to filter/select all the countries in the European Union and similar.

Possible and interesting things to filter on would be:

• Unions (like the EU)
• Continents (like Africa)
• Alliances (like NATO)
• Geographic selections (like Scandinavia)
• Cultural regions (like the Balkans)

Some ideas:

• Unions (like the EU): easy to query for since we have member of (P463) but hard to select which one's to select. All?
• Continents (like Africa): easy we have continent (P30)
• Alliances (like NATO): same as unions
• Geographic selections (like Scandinavia): possibly part of (P361) but there seems to be a lot of missing data
