Can Diaspora run as a hidden service?

Would be useful to look up in the potential problems of running Diaspora as a hidden service if any. I suppose the tor based Diaspora pods won't be able to communicate with the clear net ones at all? I suppose that's fine as long as they can communicate to each other (all the tor pods)

Would someone experienced with either Diaspora or hidden services share more insight about possible issues here or it's all good to be set up?
