  • distributed user registration and authentication based on the Bitcoin protocol
  • distributed Hash Table (DHT) overlay network providing key/value storage for user resource (Bittorrent)
  • how to setup post, mentioning, explicit message requests, hash tags, WORD SEARCH ...

Twister solves a lot of the same problems as us. It is a good place to start. I have not used it yet myself.

Twister is a hack of bitcoin really. It is a lot bigger and more complicated than necessary. If we create a hack of twister to act as our marketplace, it will get even bigger and more complicated...

I would rather maintain something small end elegant, designed specifically for this one thing.
