Release Channel override for installed mods
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It's not easy to find updates to mods that are "below" the selected preferred release channel.
Describe the solution you'd like It would be nice if when checking for updates on the modlist page, it would check for versions that are at the least of preferred release channel and currently installed mod release channel.
Additional context I have "Release" selected as my preferred release channel, but for reasons have some beta mods installed. I ran into an issue with crashes that ended up being an outdated mod. The mod did not show up as possible to update as it, and the update were part of the Beta release channel.
It would be nice if the mod list page could take into account the currently installed mod's release channel and offer updates that are currently not visible.
i suggest adding a new channel named any to the channel selector that when selected would when updating mods or packs prompt you for any mod or pack that has either beta or alpha version as the newest version to select either the newest or any of the other available versions maybe it could promtp for each mod update for you to select a version maybe ? if not too difficult to implement should make the launcher mod updater a lot more useful.
currently the launcher seems to ignore all beta and stable releases even if they are newer than the alpha version when alpha channel is selected
I was coming here to request a per-mod override for release channel, but it seemed to fit within this ticket best. Another idea is to show an information icon on mods where a beta or alpha release is available and newer, allowing for updating more selectively. Maybe like a small " i " in a circle with tooltip "Out of channel updates available" or something.
