Changing modloader causing the instance to be wiped of everything

Changing modloader causing the instance's data to be wiped

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

Install an old version of "New Simple Mods" pack from curseforge. Change the neoforge version. Lose every data.

Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

To keep my mods, shaderpacks, texturepacks, configs, etc

Possible solutions Some ideas of how you would solve this issue, if possible

not wiping the data after changing the instance's modloader version.
