Issue with updating any mod packs
- [X] I searched the issue tracker for other issues covering my case
- [X] This is a Launcher issue. (Usually if you can reproduce it with a fresh instance)
Describe the bug When updating a mod pack, mods get updated but the old versions of those mods still remain in the mods folder.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Download, for example, All The Mods 7 version 0.4.25
- Go into Manage Instance > Mod Packs > Change version to anything newer than All The Mods 7 version 0.4.25
- During the updating process, mods that have to be downloaded from the Curseforge website will fail to download, and the browser window will remain open on the first mod page it attempted to download.
- Upon closing the browser window, it asks you if you'd like to retry the download. Upon clicking retry, the updating process starts over from square one.
- When updating is finished, both the old and new versions of every mod that changed since update 0.4.25 of ATM7 will be intact.
Expected behavior When you update the pack, the browser shouldn't fail to download the first mod from the pages it opens and should delete old mod files from the previous update when the update is complete.

May be related to #1453
I have read the issue you mentioned before, but after reading through the issue you mentioned a second time to be sure, I have decided that this issue is unique and not related to the one you mentioned.
Any word on a fix? It's still happening.
I get this issue as well with FTB packs mostly also hey land! Its me bean
This has been happening to me as well, but whenever I try to retry the download I keep getting stuck when curseforge tries to verify my connection is secure (only happens when updating). And when I try to cancel the download, it is unable to do so and I have to close the launcher, losing all mods and pack data in the process. Not sure if thats different enough to warrant a separate report.
