What about using crop attribute on label and adding tooltip? Where exactly in the code is this generated?

Can’t you just cut the text with … at the left to avoid overflowing and add a tooltip with the full content when hovering the cell?

I’ve faced multiples instances of this myself, last one is attached.

uMatrix does not render the text, the browser does, so uMatrix can't know in advance that a string will be truncated.
