Confusing "need to unlock" message during setup

Open knuesel opened this issue 4 months ago โ€ข 0 comments

Running gopass setup after a fresh install of 1.15.13:

๐ŸŒŸ Welcome to gopass!
๐ŸŒŸ Initializing a new password store ...
๐Ÿ” No useable cryptographic keys. Generating new key pair
๐Ÿงช Creating cryptographic key pair (gpg) ...
๐ŸŽฉ Gathering information for the gpg key pair ...
๐Ÿšถ What is your name? XXX
๐Ÿ“ง What is your email? XXX
โš  Do you want to enter a passphrase? (otherwise we generate one for you) [y/N/q]: # typed Enter for default here
โœ… Key pair for gpg generated
Passphrase: XXX
โš  You need to remember this very well!
โš  ๐Ÿ” We need to unlock your newly created private key now! Please enter the passphrase you just generated.
Do you want to export your public key to XXX? [y/N/q]:

It says "need to unlock your newly created private key now! Please enter the passphrase you just generated" but then instead of prompting for the passphrase it immediately asks another question about exporting the public key.

(As a side note, I think it would be great to have a hint in the question about exporting the public key to help the user decide...)
