Channels cannot be reloaded after connection to node was lost

Describe the bug

When you refresh (pull down) the channel list while connection to backend is down, it empties the list. After connection is back up, the list won't be filled again, even after some waiting time and multiple refreshes (pull down). Only killing Zeus and restarting fixes the problem.

Also, in case the backend is not responding, an error should be displayed instead of an empty channel list.

Reproduce

• have at least 1 channel and go to channels list
• enable airplane mode (or bring backend down)
• refresh channel list by pulling down -> list becomes empty
• disable airplane mode (or bring backend up)
• wait and try refreshing -> list will stay empty
