[Feature request] Need more control (Doc Scan)

On Android, we can’t reliably enforce the maximum number of pages/documents scanned—despite a page-limit option, the scanner still allows captures beyond the limit. We also need a developer-controlled setting to always show a crop/adjust screen immediately after each capture, with the auto-detected document area. Currently, the flow jumps straight to a pre-cropped result and only exposes cropping via a small button that users often miss. Enforcing the page limit and providing an option to require per-capture crop confirmation would give developers the control needed to build a more accurate and user-friendly scanning experience.

Update:

The page limit issue has been fixed, and should be available from Google Play services version >= 25.42.xx. Est. rollout date is November 3.
