-Custom Tensorflow Lite apps possible? Yes, its possible -Any usage caveats before starting? You cant use autofocus and its possible that lose image quality for post-processing... Fixed focus is best focus at 0.6m

You can try the ML Kit samples provided by Google. Most of them work without major adjustments.
