Access blocked: Voice Kit’s request is invalid

I followed the instructions from: https://aiyprojects.withgoogle.com/voice/#google-assistant

The following points:

86. Authorize the app
87. Sign into your Google account
88. Finish authorization

didn't work fo rme :(

I got an error message in my browser:

You can’t sign in because Voice Kit sent an invalid request. You can try again later, or contact the developer about this issue. Learn more about this error If you are a developer of Voice Kit, see error details. Error 400: invalid_request

The link points to: "Info for app developers If your app uses the Loopback IP Address method for iOS, Android, and Chrome app OAuth client types or the Out-Of-Band method for any client type, you’ll need to migrate to a more secure alternative method."

Does that mean, that Google killed the Voice Kit project? Is there any workaround available?

seems to me google forgot to update the instructions on how to log in via oauth
