I am trying using it with the new SimpleExoPlayer but cant seem to set it the right way

Has this code been abandoned? Dont see any commits/comments in months. Please update to latest packages, want to make an app based on this based on the new exoplayer2 but need some good examples and cant find any.

I did update a TIF app to use ExoPlayer2, although it's not really a "good" example.
