No option to switch to a single button mode to learn actual Morse code methodology.

This is tricky. The whole thing needs a configuration screen to select your dot and dash (2 button) (see #7) - and dot dash End of character (a 3 button morse mode) -and yes - one button mode (but you would also need to add in timing for this).
