I can't open a whole folder

Open maxxx opened this issue 10 years ago • 6 comments

I have a folder with about 2k songs, and want to select them all for player, but there is no such feature. Instead i should go to folder and select by bunches, so spending a lot of time for scrolling and loading

Yeah, it's very bad:( It would be great if you maked a recursive adding to player.

News! We're working on it :) The current limitation are because we're using strict Google Drive API permissions. To be able to open a folder today we would need full access to your entire drive (vs "only files opened with this app"). But opening a folder with a similar permission level might be possible soon.

I don't know how google drive api works, but:

when I click on "Add audio files on Google Drive" I see the popup with many audio files (but not all ofc). Maybe you can make it possible to select files by mask (*.mp3, for example) ? If you did it, user could at least start playing all his audio.

I'm very sorry for my english:) I hope you understood me.

@Sna1L You can actually just type .mp3 and/or *.mp3 in the search box and only your mp3s should be displayed:

@nicolasgarnier Once we search for all mp3 files in the folder, is there an easy way to select the entire list? Or do we have to scroll down and wait for the entire list to load before using Shift-Select

@Stevoisiak click the first one and then simply shift-click the last one
