Summary of the feature request
Are there any plans to add the Cloud SQL Admin API to the Python Cloud Client library? I saw there was a closed issues #10451 back in 2020. It has been 4 years since then. Maybe the generator is finally ready?

Thanks for filing this feature request! The generator is indeed much further along, but there are some other technical issues we need to work on for this API. Your expression of interest in having this library is very helpful for us in prioritizing this work. We'll post updates as we make progress.
Adding my "vote" to this - will probably use the REST API just to avoid the bloat of the old "global" client library (https://github.com/googleapis/google-api-python-client) as I only need a few of the admin features.
