Clip overflow text in results display

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Long text values (particularly in the Message column) can wrap and go on for a very long time, which makes scrolling through search results difficult. I'd prefer text over a certain length to be clipped, rather than wrapped.

Describe the solution you'd like Clip text that overflows, rather than wrap. If someone wants to see the whole text, they can click into the row. I personally prefer the see the results more densely, so I can scroll and skim through, looking for something, so the wrapping and making each row take up multiple lines makes the results much more sparse.

Clarification: this only happens when you customize the columns; in the default view the Message column clipped, rather than wrapping.

Seeing the behaviour in the default message field, this sounds more like a bug then a feature.

This was opened for the old UI, in the new ui it should be way better. losing for now, if we re-run into it we should create a new issue and or reference to this one.
