When visiting modelviewer on some devices it causes a crash of Google Play Services for AR

I tested this on device Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) Chrome version 138.0.7204.179 Google Play Services for AR version 1.50.251670083

When visiting https://modelviewer.dev/ i get a popup that says Google Play Services for AR has stopped. After a few seconds chrome crashes. There is no error in chrome dev tool console logs.

I have checked on official documentation for ARCore and this device is supposed to be supported
