Hello, thanks for your interest in helping out! For now I would postpone the discussion / working on this; we are busy preparing for a new important release and some things will change in terms of how to approach the various bindings. E.g., one plan would be to generate a library .h/.a from the rust codebase... but details are not yet finalized. We'll make sure to update readmes / docs / gh issues like this when we have figured out the full plan!
