[DataSync] Refresh / triggering upload functionality
Syncing upon going online may be happening automatically, nevertheless it gives the user a nice feeling of control to do it themselves by swiping down from the top as is usual for refreshing in many Android apps. Alternatively a "Sync" button at the bottom would do.

"Swiping down" is generally used to load new results, not to upload. My concern with adding a "Sync" button is that users will think they need to press it in order for data to get uploaded. Data is uploaded as soon as possible, so effectively the button would do nothing. Considering how Gmail or Google Docs works on your device when you're offline; the data is synced as soon as it can be. Let's discuss if you feel strongle.
