Support subcommands in set and delete operations.

Currently the subcommands are not supported in set and delete operation. Add support for it.

@pau-baiget I would suggest for @AWoloszyn comes back to decide it. When I took a look, it was already a todo in set method and as a short term solution it was best to just keep the same behaviour in delete as well. I don't have enough information to decide the priority or severity of this todo.
