Update documentation to point to "happy" path

Currently the most visible starting point for a developer to test the pipeline via the wiki page points to the instructions for running a batch pipeline. Unfortunately, there's no instructions for viewing the parquet files, which is not a good initial experience for a first-time user.

It probably makes more sense to better funnel them first into the "single machine" version which does include some easy support for querying.

I am closing this as our new documentation site reflects this to some extent; especially once PR #1110 is merged.
