geconfigurefusionvolume does not exist

Open thomric2 opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

The program geconfigurefusionvolume does not seem to exist. In searching the github repo it only ever shows up in this help document for how to add an additional volume to Fusion.

https://www.opengee.org/geedocs/5.3.4/answer/fusionAdministration/manageFusionDiskSpace.html?highlight=geconfigurefusionvolume

I'm guessing the command changed and it should now be geconfigureassetroot --addvolume <volume_name>:<dir> [--assetroot <dir>]

And then on https://www.opengee.org/geedocs/5.3.4/answer/fusionAdministration/commandReference.html?highlight=geconfigureassetroot

the --addvolume text is wrong, its a copy/paste of the --fixmasterhost description

Current version of GEE is 5.3.5, although it seems that these issues also occur in the newer docs: https://www.opengee.org/geedocs/5.3.5/answer/fusionAdministration/manageFusionDiskSpace.html?highlight=geconfigurefusionvolume https://www.opengee.org/geedocs/5.3.5/answer/fusionAdministration/commandReference.html?highlight=geconfigureassetroot

And then on https://www.opengee.org/geedocs/5.3.5/answer/fusionAdministration/confTaskRulesForFusionPerf.html#defining_volumes

It recommends you define a volume using geconfigureassetroot -- editvolumes
