Hi all, when #685 is merged, we'll have just under 400 messages translated :tada: I see that in the test output.

Let me know if you want to start publishing the translation? We can link to it from the Translations page in a new section for "In-progress translations".

Hey guys, what is the status for this translation effort? I see it is listed as "under-progress"/"incomplete"? Would love to contribute to it. @mgeisler @raselmandol

@raselmandol thanks for the prompt reply. I was wondering if you could give some pointers on where I should start looking into to get started? I have read the contribution and translation guidelines. But what's the official process here?

You should send a PR with the translation for a few slides. Smaller PRs are much easier to review than big PRs, so I suggest translating just a small bit at a time.

Every few months, someone should refresh each language to make sure that content from the English translation flows into it. I did this in January for all languages — but each language is invited to do this themselves. Since the Bengali translation hasn't been touched since September last year, it would be nice to do a refresh now before you start translating the material.
