Support for Newer OS Versions

The current requirement for older operating systems (like Ubuntu 20.04, which has reached its end of standard support) is becoming a challenge.

Are there any plans to support newer OS versions? Alternatively, is there a plan to remove the dependency on a specific OS version?

We're in the process of upgrading to Ubuntu24.
