Getting black screen when setVisibility GONE -> VISIBLE or INVISIBLE -> VISIBLE

Getting the same issue when I hide the cameraView on a button click and show it again on another click. Getting black screen and camera preview is not loaded. Is it a memory issue or device specific issue? I am trying in Lenovo Tab, OS 5.1
