BN supports having plugins in the plugin manager that don't automatically install but simply link to the original repository. This can help with discoverability. I've populated a sample plugin.json for you, but feel free to adjust it as desired.

Thanks, Jordan! Does this need to live in the repo root, though? plugin.json is a rather generic name, so I'd prefer if we could put it in binaryninja/.

Oh, good point, yeah that should work fine (though I haven't double checked that with a plugin yet, it should work still). If you want to make the change or just do your own file go for it, otherwise I can amend this.
