I guess the issues is not fixed as of today (6th August 2020)

Have been dealing with this for whole day yet the same problem still persists.

You should post the cpu info first

I am running Ryzen 5 2600.

I have enabled the virtualization but still get the same error.

Which is the output of: emulator-check.exe cpu-info emulator-check.exe accel

@revx17 Please do provide a screenshot so that I can assist further. Usually, I do have doubt when people say "hyper-v is disabled". This can mean different things, for example, "hyper-v is unchecked in the Windows Feature dialog".

Thanks a lot guys. I finally got it to work.

Thanks @fusionneur and @Taogle2018 for reaching out.

I read in another thread @Taogle2018 had noted something about anti virus. First I tried disabling and it didn't work. However it worked when I altogether removed the anti virus from my system.

May I ask which AV was problematic?

It was Avast Anti Virus. (Free Version)

An older thread from avast forum suggests to disable "Enable hardware-assisted virtualization" and reboot avast_virt

Ref: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=197705.0

PS: be aware that avast comes packed with telemetry by default. You can disable under settings> general> personal privacy

I've seen more and more antivirus program using virtualization. Some even do not have a setting page for that.

You saved my day! haha. I was facing this problem with the current version (1.5.0) available on Android Studio and disabling this on my antvirus and restarting my computer solved my problem! Thanks a lot
