How does performance compare to WHPX?

I'm having performance issues with the Android Studio emulator on a Ryzen 7 3700x. Are there known performance characteristics for this driver vs HyperV? Will one be significantly faster or are they likely to be of similar performance?

I have tested performance using Antutu one year ago. WHPX was slower. However, I don't know what's the status now. At times when I carried out these tests, the most noticeable difference was the cold boot speed. Otherwise, you probably would not easily feel it unless you were reading a benchmark score. I would say performance difference is a result of type 1 vs type 2 hypervisor.
