How to Store Installed Android Applications Permanently on a Cloud Emulator?

Open adinath-devangles opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

I have successfully set up an Android Cloud emulator using Docker containers, following the steps outlined in the official documentation.

Official Documentation Link :- https://source.android.com/docs/devices/automotive/start/avd/cloud_emulator

The Cloud emulator is currently running on a N2-standard-2 type machine within the Google Cloud Platform Compute Engine VM. It utilizes Docker containers for operation.

I have installed an Android application on the Cloud emulator using following command. "adb install android.apk" During installation, it connects to the emulator via port 5555.

However, whenever I restart the Compute Engine VM, all the Android applications that I installed using adb are deleted.

I'm looking for a solution to store these Android applications permanently, so that they remain present even after restarting the Compute Engine VM.
