How to disable app-installation prompts?

What needs to be done? Add an option into Chrome to disable app installation prompts for all websites. I have no interest in installing an app of a website. I can imagine, other users either. Having a prompt is annoying. I have a popup blocker for this kind of behavior, and now Chrome itself it creating popups?
