Robust Windows Support
What would you like to be added?
This is the main tracking issue for ways windows support should be made more robust. This feature should include tasks to generally set things up to just work robustly as well as specific tactical issues to fix.
Why is this needed?
A large number of Gemini CLI users are on windows but windows support is less mature than Mac and Linux support due to the operating systems used by most members of the team. In addition, Gemini CLI often attempts to use commands only appropriate on unix on windows resulting in further user friction.
