[UX] Subagent Activity Streaming

Users need to know the subagent is working, but we don't want to pollute the main chat.

Completion Criteria:

  • [ ] Clean up thoughts of subagent
  • [ ] Allow UX for subagents to show the full history of tool calls made (likely need to collapse history of older tool calls after the first 2-3 tools.
  • [ ] Once the subagent is finished, the output/completion state needs to be cleaner

Hi! @abhipatel12 I’d love to contribute to this feature. Before I start, could you please confirm if this issue is open for external contributors? If yes, I’d appreciate any pointers on where the current subagent UX and streaming logic lives in the codebase.
