Installing CORAL on RaspBerry CM4 with M.2 - Board ....

Open ZXRobotum opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

Description

Good evening, I completely rebuilt my CM4 today with the latest RASPI OS (Debian OS) and the installation of the software went through completely error-free, which initially made me very happy.

BUT! After rebooting the computer, I don't see any apex* file under "/dev".

What went wrong here? What else can I do?) Best regards from Berlin

Hello @ZXRobotum Coral M.2 device is not supported with RPI CM4. Please check the below issue for more details. Thanks! https://github.com/google-coral/edgetpu/issues/280#issuecomment-744932186

Hey @hjonnala Thank you very much. But if I read all that, I saw, that all the tests was with the old IMAGE from Raspberry and CM4, not with the NEWEST from RaspBerry. And I wrote, that it installed it without any error - messages. But after them, I can't see the driver - files. So, I think it is very useful to verify it again.... Best regards Z. Matthias

@ZXRobotum
Did you get it to work? I was under the impression it was a hardware limitation that prevented it working, nothing to do with software. Several developers have tried to get it working, including the Nabu Casa (Home Assistant) team, and it failed due to hardware limitations of the CM4.
