MacOS 11.1 initial `screen` step issue
Hi,
Walked through "Starter Guide" for my Coral Mini, and stuck at a very early step - connect to the device via screen
command.
mdt devices
see nothing (as expected)
ls /dev/cu.usbmodem*
-> /dev/cu.usbmodemred_yarn1
screen /dev/cu.usbmodemred_yarn1 115200
says that "Can’t open line...: Resource busy" and "Cannot find FTY".
Rebooted both mac and device, tried via separate power and OTG only, no active screen
in ActivityMonitoring - nothing helps.
Do you have any suggestions for me?
MacOS 11.1, python3 (3.8.5)
@IronBCC MDT hasn't been tested with Mac OS 11 yet. Stay in touch with Coral's website for any updates regarding this.
No update yet? I'm waiting for the update. I tried the latest VCP driver from SiliconLabs, but it did not work.
Same here - waiting for an update.
same issue
We are at the 11.5.1 version of macOS. Can we assume that Coral AI is a dead project working only with an obsolete version of macOS before 2019 (2 years ago) and since zero efforts to make it compatible with the modern working environment?
same issue here.
Try these instructions to connect to the serial console with a micro-B USB cable (instead of the USB-C cable): https://coral.ai/docs/dev-board/serial-console/#connect-with-macos
