is this package relevant for face tracking?

it seems like if i add this package to a face tracking project, the ar foundation becomes unfunctional. sometimes it even crashes the app.

should i be using this component for a face tracking app?

if needed more details, i will be happy to provide such. for now, i have removed the extension and the project is working again.

using: unity 2020.3.25 ar foundation : 4.1.7 ar core : 4.2.0 ar kit : 4.2.0 and this plugin

This package doesn't provide any specific additional functionality for Augmented Faces, though you may be interested in camera configurations.

However, this package shouldn't cause your app to crash or cause AR Foundation to fail; let me know if you want to diagnose that.

ok, if it doesnt, then we have a problem :) but here's the other stuff i found today: when i was running vs 4.2.0 for ar foundation, arcore and arkit, the ar mechanism did not work, while when it was 4.1.7: all was working. but i have added the ar core extension plugin to both. the app could not start in both situations.
